Egg in water experiment
Oh it didn’t work and the eggs are the same size – the fresh water and the salt water. Did I not make the salt water salty enough? You might also like I took that same red egg and placed it back in a jar of water after it had been deflated in corn syrup. Guess what? It plumped right back up. At that point, there was less water inside of the egg so water traveled back through the membrane into the egg to make the concentration equal, inside and out. Pretty cool! Floating egg experiment

How to do the Floating Egg Experiment

Gently place an egg into the first glass of water. Does it sink or float? (It should sink.) What’s happening? Move the bottle to the bowl of ice water. Wet the egg and place it pointed side down in the bottle opening. As the air inside the bottle cools, the egg will slowly move into the bottle.
